Training on Fruit and Vegetable Carving

Objectives: The main objective of the Fruit and Vegetable Carving event was to provide a learning opportunity for the 1st semester BHM students to develop their fruit carving skills. The event was aimed to enhance their creativity, precision, and presentation skills, which are essential in the hospitality industry. The session aimed to introduce students to the art of fruit carving and teach them basic techniques.

Learning: During the event, the students learned about the basic techniques of fruit carving, including selecting the right fruit, using the right tools, and carving different shapes and designs. They also learned how to create intricate and visually appealing designs that would impress their guests. The students also gained knowledge about the nutritional value of different fruits and how to use them creatively in their dishes.

Outcomes: The Fruit and Vegetable Carving event had a positive impact on the students. They developed their carving skills and gained confidence in their abilities. The event was a great learning opportunity for the students to understand the importance of presentation skills in the hospitality industry. The students also had fun during the session and enjoyed creating beautiful designs with fruits.
