Objectives: The main objective of the Event Masters Club was to organize a festival for the students and faculty of Shubhashree College of Management to celebrate the Hindu festival of Dashain. The event aimed to provide a platform for students to showcase their talents and skills in various areas such as singing, dancing, and culinary arts. Additionally, the event aimed to promote teamwork, collaboration, and leadership skills among the members of the club.
Learning: Through the organization of the festival, the members of the Event Masters Club were able to gain valuable experience in event planning and management. They learned how to work collaboratively, coordinate with various teams, and communicate effectively with the stakeholders involved in the event. They also learned about marketing and promotion strategies and how to create a fun and engaging environment for the attendees.
Outcomes: The Dashain Fest 2022 was a huge success, with over 500 students and faculty members attending the festival. The attendees had a great time watching the performances, playing games, and trying out the different food stalls. The festival also provided an opportunity for students to network and build connections with their peers and faculty members. Additionally, the festival helped to promote the cultural diversity of the college and provide an opportunity for students to learn about the Hindu festival of Dashain.
