Training on Food Hygiene and its Impact on Nutrition

Objectives:The Food Hygiene and Nutrition event aimed to educate BHM II Semester students about the importance of food hygiene and its impact on nutrition. It sought to enhance their understanding of proper food handling, storage, and preparation techniques, while familiarizing them with common foodborne illnesses and prevention methods. The event's goal was to demonstrate practical techniques for maintaining food hygiene through hands-on activities and interactive sessions.

Learning: Throughout the event, students gained valuable knowledge about the significance of food hygiene and its direct influence on nutrition. They acquired essential skills in food handling practices, storage, and preparation, improving their ability to maintain safe and healthy food habits. By learning about common foodborne illnesses and their prevention, students became more aware and conscious of food safety. The hands-on activities provided them with practical experience in maintaining food hygiene effectively.

Outcomes: As a result of the Food Hygiene and Nutrition event, the BHM II Semester students developed increased awareness and understanding of food hygiene's importance. Their improved skills in food handling led to safer food practices in their daily lives. Furthermore, they now possess the ability to identify and prevent common foodborne illnesses, contributing to a healthier and more conscious approach towards food consumption. Ultimately, the event empowered students with knowledge and practical skills to make informed choices about food hygiene, benefiting their overall well-being.
